Airplane blueprint for the Scottish, Aviation, Twin, Pioneer ... Aviation history and aircraft blueprints/plans.

The Twin Pioneer was first built in June 1955 as a 16 seater civil transport. The military version was introduced in August 1957. The first aircraft of this type came into service with the Royal Malayan Air Force on April 17, 1958. It was named as "Lang Rajawali" by the Tunku. Later it was only called "Rajawali" as instructed by him. These aircraft were the workhorses of the RMAF during the Emergency and Confrontation period.

The last flight of the Pioneer was piloted by Air Commodore Dato Sulaiman Sujak on November 20, 1969 after 12 faithful years of service with No. 1 Squadron RMAF. After phase-out, some Twin Pioneers ended up in Indonesia while some others went to Australia.
